Early life

Haeon grew up in Seoul and has been a dance student since primary school, moving through contemporary classes and late practice-room sessions before singing became part of the same performance language. The group canon describes him as rarely still: the youngest member, quick to turn an arrangement into movement and equally quick to check that the older members have eaten.

Formation and the performance centre

When POLARIS formed, four distinct registers settled into one shared structure: Junseo's warm tenor anchoring the promise, Yejun's airy falsetto opening the most fragile space, Raon's melodic rap carrying the interior point of view, and Haeon's dance-centre energy turning the final chorus into a physical event. Haeon remains one equal member of that act rather than a separate solo identity. His function is exact — make the chorus arrive in the body at the same moment the full vocal stack arrives in the record.

Musical style

Haeon's vocal register is a bright sub-vocal woven into stacked group layers, paired with movement built around timing rather than athletic display for its own sake. On 별빛 No Man’s Star (노맨스 랜드), a 120 BPM track in A-flat major, he owns the “BYEOLBIT!” fan-chant point move and the chorus detonation point. The gesture began in a practice-room mirror and became the visual punctuation audiences can return to the group.

Public image

On stage and on camera, Haeon reads as bright, driven and sincere — the sharpest movement in the frame without becoming visually separate from the other three members. Indigo and violet mark him inside the debut's four-colour system, but those are release-specific choices rather than the whole identity. The durable image is a clearly adult South Korean performer with natural skin texture, contemporary styling and equal narrative weight inside POLARIS.

Cultural impact and fandom

POLARIS has not needed a formal fandom name for its member details to become shorthand. Haeon's upward “BYEOLBIT!” gesture is the group's clearest repeatable point move, while his habit of carrying snacks for the other members has become the quieter counter-image: the maknae looking after the older three. Fans read his indigo-violet marker as the final kinetic line inside the group's shared north-star concept.

AURA Live

POLARIS is built around a signal crossing distance to reach the people it belongs to, and Haeon is the member who converts that signal into physical movement. AURA Live, SPATIALx's system for bringing Project REPLICA residents into physical venues as full-scale live holograms, gives his point move a literal room: an indigo-violet performance centre resolving into the four-member formation in front of a real crowd.

Realisation

Haeon and POLARIS are composed and voiced by artificial intelligence (Suno) under human creative direction. The lyrics and cinematic concept originate with Jonathan M.A. White and SPATIALx Media's writers and directors, who curate, re-prompt, edit and master every take.
