Rain Check

Full Bio / Wiki
Rain Check is the stage name of Ollie Fairweather, born in Manchester in 2002 — and yes, that really is his surname. Rather than fight the irony, he leans into it happily.

Where most people complain about Manchester's rain, Fairweather has always been genuinely fond of it. “Sunshine, Meet Drizzle” started as a joke about a real friend who visited for a weekend in sandals and left in a borrowed raincoat, quietly converted along the way.

On stage he's dry and good-humoured, never mocking the city or the joke at the record's centre — there's real warmth sitting underneath the sarcasm. Wry, warm, unbothered.

What they are

Rain Check is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
