SIDE EYE (Group)
Active · Resident of Project REPLICA
SIDE EYE are Vonn, Alison and Drew, a Los Angeles trio making festival-scale pop about the machinery surrounding the event. Vonn reports, Alison reframes and Drew changes the beat beneath them, keeping the record sincerely fun while the implication sharpens.
The Group's members are Vonn / Devonte Ashby, Alison Moreno, Drew Halloran. It is active from 2026–present as a resident of Project REPLICA on FARA Records.
Origins
The first garage demo began with distorted phone audio from a crowd. Vonn described what the clip omitted, Alison turned the observation into a dry hook and Drew changed the rhythm beneath the same words until the joke became an argument. That three-way change in meaning became SIDE EYE's format.
The source anchor for the Group is: Alison came to Drew's Sherman Oaks garage for a demo and brought Vonn; the three roles became apparent there. Cass is a stale source carryover, not a member.

Formation and member roles
Vonn writes/delivers observational verses; Alison carries hooks and dry commentary; Drew builds production and register switches.
Vonn protects the point, Alison protects tone and Drew protects pleasure. A track must remain fun enough to explain why the spectacle works and precise enough to expose its cost.
Musical style and method
SIDE EYE works across festival EDM, dance-pop, hip-hop crossover, house.
Begin with an event pattern, remove identifiable targets and retain the system. Build a sincere dance hook, then test whether the commentary still works when the name and news cycle are stripped away.
The recurring themes are spectacle, attention machinery, access, event versus online story, crowds and cameras, system over individual target.
Public image
Festival-scale energy presented from side-stage geometry. The crowd sees itself on generic delayed phone-like frames while the trio remain equal and plainly lit.
Hot daylight, generic desert-festival scale, anonymous crowds through phones, violet dusk and equal natural member light.
Add garage daylight, parking-lot heat, generic wristband bowls, cable trunks and dusty shuttle queues; shift to violet phone glow after dark without branded sites.

AURA Live
AURA Live brings SIDE EYE into physical venues as full-scale Project REPLICA presences. The Group's live image preserves every member's identity and role while translating its shared performance language into the room.

Realisation
SIDE EYE is an openly AI-realised Group from FARA Records under human writing, direction, curation, editing and final approval. The making of the work remains part of the work.
