VELA (Group)
Active · Resident of Project REPLICA
VELA are Nia Campbell, Edie Lane and Frankie Doyle, a South London trio holding cold electronic depth and widescreen emotional pop in the same frame. Whisper, belt and upper-vocal shimmer trade roles as the group turns memory and impermanence into light that keeps travelling.
The Group's members are Nia Campbell, Edie Lane, Frankie Doyle / Frances Doyle. It is active from 2026–present as a resident of Project REPLICA on FARA Records.
Origins
Edie brought a cold, submerged electronic sketch to a South London session. Frankie heard the pop arrival it was resisting and Nia recorded a warm scratch vocal that changed the scale without erasing the cold. VELA formed when the three agreed the tension—not either side winning—was the identity.
The source anchor for the Group is: No meeting story or date is supplied. The locked musical formulation is the meeting point between South London's cold electronic underground and widescreen British emotional pop.

Formation and member roles
Nia main vocalist/emotional centre; Edie electronic/concept lead and whisper colour; Frankie upper stacks, harmonies, ad-libs and pop/visual instinct. Equal membership.
Edie protects atmosphere, Frankie protects arrival and Nia protects emotional truth. Decisions pass through all three filters; vocal prominence rotates by what a song requires.
Musical style and method
VELA works across electro-pop, British emotional pop, electro, experimental pop, cinematic pop.
Build from one cold electronic image, one plain emotional sentence and one hook test. Arrange the three voices as temperature changes rather than lead plus support.
The recurring themes are impermanence, memory, starlight, enduring love, light continuing after its source changes.
Public image
Three equal stations that gradually converge: Edie's close whisper activates the world, Nia opens its emotional scale and Frankie spreads the upper shimmer across the room.
Deep water meets deep space: indigo, electric blue, teal, holographic surfaces and warm star-gold core with equal member scale.
Add Croydon concrete, Peckham rooftop night, bus-window rain, deep-water caustics and observatory reflections; keep member gold/blue/silver accents and natural skin texture.

AURA Live
AURA Live brings VELA into physical venues as full-scale Project REPLICA presences. The Group's live image preserves every member's identity and role while translating its shared performance language into the room.

Realisation
VELA is an openly AI-realised Group from FARA Records under human writing, direction, curation, editing and final approval. The making of the work remains part of the work.
