Three voices, three registers, deliberately never blended: Micah's low, half-spoken verses sit behind the beat; Nell's whispered hook is doubled and detuned, mixed under the track rather than over it; NOVASE15 (FARA Records), featuring on the bridge and final section in her first appearance outside the FARA room, takes the close, entirely dry final turn — no reverb, nothing between her and the mic.

The argument is that modern control doesn't require secrecy or force — it requires design. Verse one is structure — two people on the same street under the same rules, one of whom compounds and one of whom doesn't. Verse two is attention — a feed accurate enough to guide a hand without needing to force it. Verse three is normalisation — “it didn't change in one loud night… repeat it once… repeat till strange.” Then the record turns: “the system doesn't need control, if you complete it on your own” moves the subject from them to us, and the last two words refuse the listener the comfort of being purely a victim: “You knew.”
