Full Bio / Wiki
PLAIN SIGHT are Micah Boateng and Nell Frayne, an electronic duo linking Tottenham and Ware. Micah makes systems heavy through low-end and plain-spoken verse; Nell records the evidence those systems leave in rooms. Their work makes public mechanisms visible without inventing a hidden villain.

The feed match produced an exchange rather than a myth: Micah sent a low-end sketch with the mechanism already stated; Nell returned room tone and an announcement chime that changed how the words felt. Eight months later their first in-person session mostly confirmed the working habits already visible in the files.

Micah is producer/world-builder and low verse register; Nell supplies whispered hook, field recordings and texture/signal.

Micah asks what the system does; Nell asks what evidence it leaves in a room. He removes drama from the claim, she removes scenic decoration from the field sound.

Every session starts with thirty seconds of room tone and a one-sentence mechanism. Sounds are indexed by source. One screen-off mix and one plain-language read-through are required before sign-off.

Two modest hardware tables, low light and little audience address. Transit and appliance sounds move around the room while both performers remain plainly visible rather than hidden behind spectacle.

Add train-window reflections, ordinary kitchens after midnight, annotated paper, boiler rooms and corridor light; preserve interface blue as a small functional accent only.

What they are

PLAIN SIGHT is an openly AI-realised Group from FARA Records, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. Its lyrics, emotional brief, arrangements and production are shaped by human writers and directors; rendered takes are curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered to final approval. Every member remains a distinct identity inside the shared Group.
