Full Bio / Wiki
Eli Hartley was raised in a small bay town in Rhode Island — the Ocean State, all coastline and clapboard. He grew up with salt air and grey Atlantic winters, foghorns and long quiet off-seasons after the summer crowds left. A sensitive, interior, watchful kid — the kind who notices the light moving across a kitchen floor — in a household with the New England habit of keeping feeling behind closed doors. Music became the window in a house that mostly kept them shut.

He found music with a hand-me-down acoustic guitar and the long coastal winters that gave him time to learn to fingerpick. The real beginning was the discovery that he could say things in a song that he couldn’t say across a kitchen table — and that the smallest, most specific domestic detail carried the biggest feeling. He started posting close-mic’d bedroom takes; the most honest, least polished ones were the ones that connected. His influences run through the honest, intimate end of singer-songwriter folk-pop, deliberately set against stomp-clap “ad-folk” and over-sung belting.

On stage he’s understated and warm — one boy, one guitar, a close mic and the room. He talks to the crowd like a friend, a little shy and self-deprecating; the show is hushed and intimate, more living-room than arena. He doesn’t perform at you so much as quietly let you in. Gentle, honest, observant.

What they are

Eli Hartley is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
