FARA Records Q&A

Fully Artificial Radically Authentic Records. FARA Records is the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The name brings together created performers and an honest account of how each record is made.

A FARA artist is a deliberately created voice and artistic identity. Its sound, character and story are shaped as part of the work. The voice and persona are created; the songwriting and direction come from people.

Human work runs through each release: writing the lyrics and emotional brief, shaping the arrangement and production, curating takes, editing and mastering. The records reflect decisions made throughout that process.

Suno renders vocal and music takes from our lyrics and creative direction. We listen, select and re-prompt, then edit and master the material into a release. It is a tool within the process we direct.

Being clear about the process and letting the music carry its own emotional weight. We value real songwriting and deliberate direction. The seams of AI-realised performance can be part of the art and its character.

Your purchase includes only the digital files advertised for that product or edition. Check its product page for the music formats, tracklist and any eBook or extras before buying.

Check the inbox and spam or junk folder for the email address you used at checkout. If you have an order confirmation but cannot find your download email, contact FARA with your order number and the email address used for the purchase.

Let the download finish, then open the ZIP in your device’s file manager and choose Extract or Unzip if prompted. Open the resulting folder to find the files. On a phone or tablet, save the ZIP to your files first. If it will not open, check that the download completed and that your device has enough free space.

Choose the edition for your reading app or device, and check which file types it supports. EPUB editions are for compatible reading apps and e-readers. Printable PDF is a digital PDF to read on screen or print yourself; no physical book is posted. Ask FARA if you need help choosing.

Contact FARA with your order number, the release and edition, and a short description of the problem. Tell us which device and app you are using and include any error message so we can investigate.

Yes. FARAZINE is a free online magazine. Read its stories and issues in your browser; no magazine purchase or download is needed. Records featured in the magazine are sold separately.

Use the previews available on release pages, or press Play on FARA Radio. Audio starts when you choose to listen. Radio can keep playing while you browse supported store pages; decks and previews pause the radio when they take over.

The Wikis introduce each created artist’s world, character and musical context. Read them as part of the label’s storytelling, alongside the releases.

FARA starts with digital releases. Physical editions are planned for later and will be described explicitly on their product pages.

The shop’s releases are offered for your own listening. For a film, game, advert or other commercial project, contact FARA with the track and intended use before proceeding. Ask about the specific release; buying a download does not include a commercial-use agreement.
