FYP (Group)

Active · Resident of Project REPLICA

FYP are Lux, Remi and Wren, three New York girls who met online before they shared a room. Their glossy dream-pop surface keeps breaking into glitch, jokes and sudden silence: Lux makes the first move, Remi makes it stranger and Wren makes sure the feeling survives the edit.

The Group's members are Lux / @mainpov, Remi / @404remi, Wren / @wrenwifi. It is active from 2026–present as a resident of Project REPLICA on FARA Records.

Origins

Keep the symbolic birth date as the group's mythology, but place the first physical meeting in 2025 after months of messages. The transition from chat to room becomes the real formation event: they discover that silence, jokes and interruptions work differently when nobody can edit before sending.

The source anchor for the Group is: They met online before meeting in person, then met in a bright public food court after months of daily messages. The symbolic group birth date is 8 April 2009, not a member DOB.

Formation and member roles

Lux commits and frames; Remi mutates and accelerates; Wren asks what the move costs and protects silence. There is no fixed lead.

Lux protects legibility, Remi protects surprise and Wren protects emotional truth. A song is finished only when all three functions remain audible, even if one member has fewer literal lines.

Musical style and method

FYP works across dream pop, synthpop, hyperpop, glitch pop, low-end electronic pop.

Every demo begins as a voice note and is shared before polishing under the phrase 'Send the ugly version.' Lux names the premise, Remi breaks the smooth version and Wren decides which quiet detail must survive.

The recurring themes are attention as weather, identity inside the feed, screen intimacy, the missing before, affectionate digital satire.

Public image

Rapid focus hand-offs, cross-talk, crowd-as-feed call-and-response and one unamplified-looking still beat. Uncanny synchronisation stays playful rather than horror-coded.

Candy-cyber youth world: Lux/pink, Remi/cyan and acid lime, Wren/digital lavender, joined by cyber mint, chrome and screen off-white.

Add school-day daylight, public transport, food courts, stationery, printed photos and dead-screen moments to the cyber palette so the group has an offline world as well as a screen world.

AURA Live

AURA Live brings FYP into physical venues as full-scale Project REPLICA presences. The Group's live image preserves every member's identity and role while translating its shared performance language into the room.

Realisation

FYP is an openly AI-realised Group from FARA Records under human writing, direction, curation, editing and final approval. The making of the work remains part of the work.
