Junie Rae
Kansas City · b. 1998 · FARA Records
Full Bio / WikiJunie Rae, born June Adeline Rae on 12 June 1998, came up in a Kansas City house full of players, a fiddle under her chin before she was tall enough to reach the bar. She learned the trade on the same Oklahoma-Texas dancehall circuit that shaped a generation of floor bands, and plays every fiddle line on her own records herself, the human-written parts rendered under direction with AI.
Sharp, warm, and quick, she's a fiddler who owns the floor as much as any singer does — stacking dancefloor harmonies and answering every line with a shape and personality of her own.
She treats the fiddle as a second voice rather than an accompaniment, signalling the turn in a dance as clearly as any called instruction would. She and Wade have played the same circuit long enough that the timing between them needs no rehearsal. Quick-witted, precise, floor-owning.
What they are
Junie Rae is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
