POLARIS (Group)

Active · Resident of Project REPLICA

POLARIS are Junseo, Yejun, Raon and Haeon, a Seoul group built around the idea of a signal finding its way home. Warm centre, exposed high light, cinematic narration and choreography work as four equal parts of one returning story.

The Group's members are Junseo / Han Jun-seo, Yejun / Kang Ye-jun, Raon / Seo Ra-on, Haeon / Kim Hae-on. It is active from 2026–present as a resident of Project REPLICA on FARA Records.

Origins

The members were brought together for a concept exercise about a signal returning home. Junseo anchored the promise, Yejun made the vulnerable distance audible, Raon gave the concept an internal narrator and Haeon translated the climax into movement. The line-up stayed because the concept lost a dimension whenever one part was removed.

The source anchor for the Group is: Four established routes—choir/vocal training, quiet falsetto discovery, cyphers/cinema and competition dance—become one narrative system. No exact line-up-lock date is supplied.

Formation and member roles

Junseo leader/main vocalist; Yejun lead vocalist; Raon main rapper; Haeon maknae/main dancer/vocalist.

Junseo steadies, Yejun humanises, Raon frames and Haeon energises. Offstage, leadership is practical care; emotional openness, humour and movement circulate pressure rather than becoming fixed archetypes.

Musical style and method

POLARIS works across K-pop, cinematic concept pop, R&B, hip-hop, EDM.

A narrative storyboard precedes line allocation. Each member receives one irreplaceable story function, then the final section demonstrates the functions sharing one space.

The recurring themes are guiding light, waiting, names and numbers, memory, identity, separation, return.

Public image

Four individual light markers travel on separate paths, cross without military precision and finally resolve into a single guiding line.

Cold steel-blue night, fog, utilitarian coats, one starlight line and four warm-gold/silver/cyan/indigo markers.

Broaden from night concepts to quiet Seoul dawn, radio rooms, paper maps, empty platforms and old photographs while retaining the four-member colour code.

AURA Live

AURA Live brings POLARIS into physical venues as full-scale Project REPLICA presences. The Group's live image preserves every member's identity and role while translating its shared performance language into the room.

Realisation

POLARIS is an openly AI-realised Group from FARA Records under human writing, direction, curation, editing and final approval. The making of the work remains part of the work.
