Full Bio / Wiki
Rowan Castellan (b. 11 March 1995, Washington State) grew up with Dark Side of the Moon as a genuinely formative text — not just a favourite record but something he spent years taking apart to understand its architecture, the way other people take apart engines. That patient, analytical instinct is the whole foundation of how he builds a piece: structure first, feeling arrived at through structure rather than despite it.

He writes and plays guitar in long, continuous movements rather than verse-chorus songs, more interested in a seven-section arc than in a three-minute single. His delivery moves across three distinct analytical depths within one piece, building an argument rather than repeating a hook. His influences run the concept-album tradition of 1970s progressive rock directly, and a lifelong habit of studying finished work for how it was built rather than just enjoying it.

On stage he's controlled and deliberate, more engineer than performer, trusting the architecture of a long piece over any single moment inside it. Analytical, patient, exacting.

What they are

Rowan Castellan is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
