SALT
Brighton, England · FARA Records
Full Bio / WikiSALT is Imogen "Immy" Sinclair, a Brighton producer and DJ born 26 December 2002 who learned techno before drum and bass and never corrected the order — which is why her remixes hear pressure and repetition before they hear the drop. She treats a remix as an argument with the original: drums harden, reverb disappears, structures stretch past where a normal edit would resolve, and the release lands smaller, and harder, because it arrives late.
Brighton gave her access early — a small city with nightlife larger than its size meant that by nineteen she could be in a serious room on a Tuesday and learn immediately whether a record worked in physical space or only looked convincing on a screen. She has more time for engineers than producer mythology, and won't accept a remix job until she's heard the original played out.
CRACKLINE (Remix Pt I) is confirmed SALT canon; any further instalment in the series remains unconfirmed, a distinction she treats as more important than symmetry.
What they are
SALT is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
