Full Bio / WikiSublet is the stage name of Dalton Reyes (b. 2001, Houston), who found grunge secondhand — through records and late-night internet rabbit holes rather than a scene he was actually born into. What hit him was the sound's raw physical honesty, not the flannel or the era it came wrapped in.
His stage name is the song's own metaphor made literal: someone else occupying a space you never leased out.
On stage he's low and held-together until the chorus tears open, control lost only at the very end, on purpose. Bruised, defiant, controlled.
