Thursday
Seattle · b. 2004 · FARA Records
Full Bio / WikiThursday is the stage name of Nora Kessler, born in Seattle in 2004. She writes the way she thinks — in journal-entry fragments, close observation, grief sitting easily next to a grocery list. It's a habit built out of growing up inside her generation's specific, ambient version of dread: climate anxiety, a news cycle that never really switches off, the low hum of worry that sits in the background of an ordinary day.
Her stage name comes from her own recurring lyric anchor — the most ordinary word doing the most emotional work. Live, she's conversational and unguarded, closer to reading a journal aloud than performing a show. Observant, honest, composed — that's Thursday.
What they are
Thursday is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
