Full Bio / WikiHojun (Kim Ho-jun, 김호준, b. 2 April 2006) is the maknae, main dancer and sub-vocalist of LUMEN, the four-member South Korean group based in Seoul. He is the youngest of the four and has been a dance kid since primary school — b-boy battles, contemporary classes, a child who was never quite still — and the group's canon keeps him bright, mischievous and competitive rather than turning that energy into caricature.
Dance came first. He was scouted at a competition and learned to sing inside the choreography afterwards, which made breath, timing and movement parts of a single performance language rather than separate disciplines. Inside LUMEN he holds a precise function rather than a generic idol role: bright sub-vocal and supporting group layers, and the dance centre that makes the hook land physically.
On the debut single 별빛이 내게 왔어 (You Came to Me as Light) — 120 BPM, A♭ major, a Korean-led bilingual lyric with English peak lines — his anchor is the pointeu point-move, the dance-centre chorus energy and the bright supporting layers underneath the group vocal. He invented the song's signature pointeu himself, in the practice-room mirror, before it became the gesture the whole hook is built around.
His public presence is the performance-centre spark: the sharpest movement in the room, the biggest grin, relentless motion — balanced by the group's running joke that the maknae is the one who often acts like the oldest. He mother-hens the older members, and can land the choreography perfectly while talking his way through it. Personality in three words: bright, mischievous, energetic. His current member marker inside LUMEN's four-colour system is aurora teal.
LUMEN's shared themes are light crossing distance, finding the person or people who were the light all along, stars, connection, longing and being found. Hojun enters those themes through his role rather than through biography — the debut's starlight story is romantic and symbolic, and is not repackaged as literal personal history.
