Junction
New York City · b. 2003 · FARA Records
Full Bio / WikiJunction is the stage name of Julian Ashe, born 23 March 2003 in New York City. His sound comes from two record collections colliding under one roof: his English father's jangly post-punk and 80s guitar-pop against his American mother's love of 90s college rock.
Where a lot of songwriters reach for dramatic scenes, Julian is drawn to the specific weight of ordinary objects — the small, overlooked details that end up carrying the whole feeling once you actually notice them. His stage name comes straight from his own writing: the crossing-point in a lyric that you don't realise you've passed until you're already standing on the other side of it.
On stage he's understated and exact, letting the structure of the song do the emotional work rather than raising his voice to do it for him. Precise, literary, quietly urgent — on record and in person.
What they are
Junction is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
