Full Bio / Wiki
LOGOS// (Elijah Bankole, b. 1 January 2008) grew up in Crawley, West Sussex — a commuter town under the Gatwick flight paths, close enough to London's grime and rap scenes to be shaped by them, far enough to have to build his own version of it. He came up in two rooms that felt like opposites and turned out not to be: the church, where he was taught that words carry real weight and real consequence, and the local rap and grime cipher, where the same lesson got proven every week in a different language. He spent his teenage years increasingly convinced that scripture's oldest claim — that speech itself is a kind of power, a technology — was the most cyberpunk idea he'd ever heard, and that nobody was rapping it like that. He turned 18 on New Year's Day, which he treats as more than a coincidence.

Grime and glitch-hop gave him the aggression and the fractured, system-breaking sound; his faith gave him the actual subject. “Words Are Technology” is the idea stated as plainly as he could make it: that speech is not neutral, that the Word in John's Gospel is a claim about power and creation, not just poetry — and that breaking free of an inherited script starts with what you let yourself say. His influences run UK grime and glitch-hop's fractured, high-impact production and MLE-inflected delivery, alongside the conscious and worship-rap tradition of scripture read as living, active claim rather than decoration — an artist deliberately fusing a hacker's vocabulary (locks, code, system, signal) with a believer's.

On stage he's rebellious in delivery, sincere underneath it — a system-crash energy in service of a genuinely held belief, never ironic or performed for aesthetic. He raps like he's breaking something open, because as far as he's concerned, he is. The trailing “//” in his name is a code-comment mark — the cyberpunk half of a name that's otherwise a straight lift from the opening line of John's Gospel. Urgent, convicted, sharp.

What they are

LOGOS// is an AI-realised act from FARA Records — Fully Artificial, Radically Authentic, the AI-native label of SPATIALx. The lyrics, emotional brief, arrangement and production behind every act on the label come from human writers and directors. Suno renders the vocal and musical takes from there, and the results are handed back to be curated, re-prompted, edited and mastered until they say exactly what they were built to say. We don't hide any of it — the seams are part of the art. This isn't AI filler standing in for a band. It's real songwriting, real direction, and a voice that didn't exist before.
