He grew up inside the city's double inheritance — tech-industry skepticism sitting right next to a genuine countercultural fascination with the hidden — and by his teens was already drawn to the overlap between ancient scripture and modern disclosure culture.
The name is his own lyric: something genuinely radiant that only shows up on the wrong instrument — visible, real, but never where you're pointed to look. It's the animating idea behind a sound built on calm, hypnotic grooves and vocals that never once raise to a shout, carrying conviction through imagery and repetition instead of volume.
