별빛 No Man's Star (노맨스 랜드) is the debut single from POLARIS — Junseo, Yejun, Raon and Haeon — a cinematic 4th-generation K-pop concept single about a love that survives distance, silence and a stripped identity.

The song opens on a failing radio transmission and runs the whole way through in dual POV — a “her” who waits at home and a “him” who is taken and stripped of his name: “이름 대신 번호로 불려 — I answer to a voice not mine.” Her verse stays intimate, Y2K-R&B, aching with recognition: “수백 번 스쳐간 시간 속에 왜 이제야 널 알아본 걸까 — we passed each other hundreds of times, why didn't I see you sooner?”

별빛 (byeolbit, starlight) becomes the signal that has to cross the impossible distance between them. The chorus asks for exactly that: “별빛이 돼줄 — be my starlight — if you're lost in no man's land, can my love still find your hand? Even if you forget my name, I will love you just the same.” Right after it, the fan-chant gap lands — the shouted “— BYEOLBIT! —” — followed by the rising three-note “ah-ah-ah” starlight-signal hook.

His verse is the melodic rap, and it's the harder half of the story: “먼지 속에 널 숨겨 — but you're the echo in my mind — letters I write I can't send, words get lost before they land.” The pre-chorus that follows is a genuine duet, her and him trading lines that don't quite meet: “돌아와 줘 (come back to me)” against “기다리지 마 (don't wait for me).”

The bridge strips everything to piano alone for the most exposed moment on the record: “if I come back broken… will you still hold me? if you find someone new… will you still know me? 별빛은 늦게 도착해도 — starlight arrives too late sometimes — it was always meant to be seen.”

The final chorus brings the full group back in with stacked harmonies and a high note, landing the group's actual promise: “I'LL FIND YOU AGAIN.” Then the outro returns to static and footsteps passing, closing on the exact fear the second verse raised — “…이름… 불러줄래? (…will you say my name?)” — before the transmission cuts out completely.
