I'm buffering, I'm lagging, I'm a system overload.

MUSIC TRACK STORY

Error 404 Feelings is Bliss's debut single — glitchy, maximal hyperpop built entirely out of the exact texture of being terminally online, funny on top and aching underneath.

Music Track Story

Bliss wrote this one out of a very specific, very online kind of numbness — ghosting your own feelings, doom-scrolling through an ex, watching your own pain get rebranded as content because that's just what you do with everything now. “Screenshot of a feeling that I'll never post, archive it in the folder labeled 'things I need the most.'” It's comedy first, because that's the only way in — and then it isn't.

The verses rapid-fire, pitched and chopped, half-joking, half-drowning: “my heart's on low battery, my brain's in power save, but I keep refreshing like there's something left to crave.” Then the chorus crashes in massive and candy-bright — “Error 404 — my feelings not found! I searched every corner but there's nothing left to download” — the whole thing dressed up as a joke about an error message, except it isn't really a joke.

Here's the thing the whole track is built around: every single section is pitched, chopped or distorted — except the bridge, where it all cuts to one completely clean, un-effected vocal. “Underneath the static, I'm just a kid who's scared that if I turn the screen off, nobody will be there.” That's the only unglitched moment in the entire song, and it's not an accident — it's the one place she stops performing and just says it.

Then it all reboots — bigger, more distorted, genuinely triumphant — before the whole track ends on a system-shutdown sound, silence, and one soft, completely clean piano note: the first analog sound in the whole song. The sound of actually logging off, after spending the entire song proving she couldn't.
